I notice that the stearing wheel has a horn logo on it and a fuse in the engine compartment for a horn. But when I push on the stearing wheel it does nothing. Also when the motor is turned off I can move the stearing wheel with out moving the tires. Should it do that??? The reason I was wondering is when I was driving on the main road the stearing wheel is not lined up with the big hole to see the gauges, it was 1/4 turn off. Thanks:confused:

The horn should work, there is a problem with it somewhere. As for the steering, the steering is 100% hydraulic, so the operation you are talking about is normal.

Galen, is the horn now std? It was an option with the 20 series.

Horn came standard on my 8560 and has always worked fine.

My 6520 came with a horn. Don't remember paying for a horn option. Over 600 hours and it works when it wants to.

When I got my 7520 and it did not have a horn or locking gas cap, I was told that those items were options. I guess they may not have been, but it got me off of the dealers back and I don't have either of those items. My tractor is one of the very first 7520s and it looks like they just left that stuff off when going down the assembly line. :confused3:
