Reading through my owners manual again. Only Kubota approved attachments or the warrenty will be void. Now is that the Kubota brand or do they have a list of off brands as well.

Dealer is closed this evening as well as on Sunday, was going to just call him. So, I thought I would ask in here.

Thanks,

Rooster

Most Kubota dealers are in bed with LandPride attachments.

Hard to believe that your warranty is voided if you use an attachment from some other manufacturer. Never heard of it - 99% of Kubota tractor owners would have their warranty voided within a few days.

If it has a category one hitch, any category one implement shouldn't void the warranty.

Plowing with one of these behind your BX SHOULD void the warranty. :)

I think they all say that about attachments. My dealer sold me a woods blade for my bx and is trying to sell me a edge snow blade for the l4240. I don't think the care about the attachments as long as you use your head. You can use your owners manual as a guide as to what size attachments to get for your tractor.

If you can pull that thing with your BX, you don't NEED a warranty!

You would probably have to use 4wd. :)

I think it's legal talk for if an attachment of another brand breaks, say the gear box locks up and instead of the shear pin/ slip clutch gives your rear end explodes Kubota is not liable. Or more likely if you buy a rear attachment and the PTO shaft is too long and you damage the rear of the tractor when raising the 3 pt Kubota is not liable. Of course none of this matters if you have Kubota insurance.

I think this is what they mean. Attachments that don't meet the size/weight requirements in the manual will void the warranty.

In agreement with the other, nothing about which to worry, we use different brands of equipment on ours and our dealer has recommended some non Kubota items to save a few bucks; same quality different name.
