SHEEEEEESHHHHH can you Liberal beat a dead horse or what. You Liberals are a sick bunch of people.

The new data, compiled from more than 3,000 measuring points on land and sea, was issued quietly on the internet, without any media fanfare, and, until today, it has not been reported.
This stands in sharp contrast to the release of the previous figures six months ago, which went only to the end of 2010 – a very warm year.
Ending the data then means it is possible to show a slight warming trend since 1997, but 2011 and the first eight months of 2012 were much cooler, and thus this trend is erased.

They've said that is exactly what they where going to do. Big shock no one ran with this in licensed networks.

The real problem is the group behind these studies. Somehow I doubt all these pawns are even aware of what agendas these "adjusted" studies support. Take a look at this sustainability thing. You think it means planting trees in the area you just logged. Oh no. It's a 3 part program. Here's a few highlights.
Environmental
Land use- centralized land control aka no private property
Management of human consumption- that's rationing
Energy- carbon neutral( fascist or crony capitalism aka approved energy
Water- demand management aka rationing
Food- Diets low in meat, high fruits/vegs , low sugar, limited salt, low fat translates control of what you eat by controlling what's produced
Economic
Decoupling environmental degradation and economic growth- that's translates into denying the ability to develop natural resources ie wells, mines, fisheries ect. That's a jobs thing.
Nature as an economic externality- that's carbon tax or subsidies for solar, wind, ect.
Social
Social justice- resources by class aka equality of outcome aka socialism
Human settlements- Eco-municipalities aka communes seen in Russia 1840s

So once you slide that " scientist" guy to the side, this is really nothing short of socialism. It's got new green wrapping and a great new name but in the end, it is what it is.
Glad to see there are more people out there that can see what this is.

You didn't say anything that bothered me, in fact, I thought you made a good point that is near the root of this thread. So, in keeping with the pattern of this thread, I surmised you were due for some sort of punishment for that, and since they typically level a charge or ask a question meant to suggest their opponents don't understand science, I thought it would be refreshing if someone else did it for a change. My post was more succinct than theirs generally are, and I covered more ground too...I even worked in puppy hatred.:laughing:

So, in that same theme:
Why don't you just cave and be the fifth dentist to endorse Trident? I don't want to put any pressure on you, but we need hearts and minds here. It's not so much that we need you to save energy or limit your CO2, don't be silly. You can't get there by deeds, and if you are with us, we don't really care what you do. You can burn polar bears in crude oil flown in on near empty 747's for all we care. But we will insist you dedicate your heart to the goal of stamping out our politi...er...AGW. So, what do you say? Are you coming over to our side, or are you going to slink off again to kill more cute adorable puppies?

I think I see those off to the left, but there seems to be almost nothing coming out of them, and what is coming out is unknown. The picture is a face full of cooling towers emitting water vapor as best I can tell. I think it is very misleading.

Completely misleading, and to try and pull something like that is in my book, is stupid. I'd have to guess that most people would be able to tell water vapor from particulates.

I already posted on this a day or two ago. The same story was in a ? Daily Mail article. Read their final paragraph which I quoted in the earlier post.

That article has a picture of big smokestack looking things, and claims:
"Damage: Global warming has been caused in part by the CO2 emitted by fossil fuels. This image shows smoke billowing out of a power station"

It was not smoke billowing, but water vapor from cooling towers, worse than CO2 for global warming, but presumably it came from normal water, not fossil water.

Hey, those water molecules have been around since the time of the dinosaurs so they are indeed "fossil water".

For you AGW believers, start putting pressure on the world to put pressure on China, India, South American and African countries as well as Eastern Eurpopean countries, they are the ones doing the lion's share of polluting. No point in squeezing our industry to death just so the work can go overseas to worse polluters.
