I pried the black knob off, then unscrewed the nut, the black rubber "O"
ring looked great.
Cleaned the threads and put back together and still leaked.
It blows out my lit match no problem. LOL

We'll send out another express on Monday. In the mean time, I am not sure where the leak is coming from the nut. That is a new one on me. I've seen some overtightened on the stalk and cause a leak. But not sure what might the problem.

You could always run to Lowes or Home Depot which ever is closer to you, and buy a roll of flux core. That way you can see how the machine is going to work.
Be careful the one pound spool may not fit your feeder, I had to make an adapter for my wire feeder.

Mark, you really don't have to send out another flow meter, I
bought one off eBay for 35 bucks.
The company is in Illinois, I should get it by Wednesday.
Mark, it is leaking on the shaft that the black knob is on.
If you pop the knob off, there is a shaft, the shaft has 2 rubber "O" rings.


Mark, 1 question, on the drive wheel, is .035 the big grove, or the small grove?

If you got a kid setting around playing video games, you can stick a screwdriver through the hole in the 1-pound spool and let them hold the screwdriver while you weld. :laughing:

The small one labeled as .8 is for .030 and .035. The large one is for .035 and .040.
