Have you had troubles finding ammunition ? 12 gauge and .22 ?

Will check again this weekend, but none locally now and my sons and grandsons burned up a lot of ours at a pistol match last week; won first second and third place.:thumbsup:

yes it seems that way I bought 333 rounds of .22 a month ago from walmart for $10.95

Yeah, and I bough 550 rounds of Federal 22 LR. at Walmart a month ago for $23.00 and change...

I haven't bought anything except 9 mm and .38 spl. in awhile, and a few years ago, several of our local Walmarts had signs on the ammo case limiting purchases to 6 boxes. Then those signs disappeared and for awhile they had plenty, with no restrictions. But a couple of days ago, I didn't need any ammo myself, but happened to notice in a Walmart that the ammo case was pretty bare looking and a couple of signs posted on the front of the case said, "Limit of 5 boxes, no 2 UPC codes the same." First time I'd seen that.

I will, it wasn't much of a match and only paper, but they had a good time. My oldest son wasn't even going to compete and didn't take a gun, so my grandson signed him up and they used the same pistol.

Compared to the $23 I paid at Walmart for 550 22 LR and what some have posted...and what I have seen on the internet...you are exactly right..I saw $167.00 for 300 rnds. 22 LR today on one of the internet ammo sites and some a lot higher than that...pure price gouging....I won't pay it.

True, but as long as there are fools out there to buy it, they will continue to charge for it. I have been buying ammo for 30 years now off and on, its kind of like buying stock. Ya have to do it when no is talking about it. I typically always but 3x as much as I plan on shooting.

Buy reloading supplies while you can."And learn how,it's not that difficult.In New York State ,the mail order ammo is done.I always bought local anyway.I did stock up on bullets and brass,bought primers and powder local.
