Wayne You hit it on the head, can't tell you how many times I have heard "NOT MY KID" even when the parents see the VIDEO!!!
Then the lawmakers just keep passing laws to protect the kids, here in Connecticut you are treated by the legal system as a juvenile up to age 18! When and how do they expect kids to learn a lesson, I have no answer but when "Kids" are saying "so what nothing is going to happen to me anyway" it only becomes a revolving door at the PD and Court.
Parents call the police when their children are "out of control" as young as 7 and 8 because they don't want to deal with it or are frighten at what would happen to them if they smacked the kid. I don't condone abuse and beating a child, but there is a difference between abuse and discipline.
So if the parents don't discipline and the courts and legal system don't want to deal with them what have they learned? That there are "NO Consequence" for there actions.

I used to do go to WallyWorld at 0600 as well and for the same reasons.
However, one morning I was shopping and two employees were making out at the end of an aisle. :shocked: Thankfully it was a man and a woman. :laughing::laughing::laughing: They knew The Spot to go to that would not bee seen on the security cameras.
Ironically, they were in the drug store area and I thought about throwing them a box of "protection." :laughing::laughing::laughing:You just never know what you will see in a WallyWord.

People call these people who play games, "heroes" because they can catch or throw a ball, run, jump or ride a bike real fast. Yeah, they are real heroes risking their lives playing a game.
We just had two off duty fire fighters run into a burning house to pull out a family. A city police officer did the same thing a few weeks ago.

Americans are not the only Ugly Ones.
At Disney World, tour groups of Brazilians have a very bad reputation. They run around in large groups of people following flags held up by tour guides. The groups have a nasty habit of getting a mob mentality and suddenly not understanding English or common decency including line jumping. One Ugly American group is the Pop Warner football league. They have games at WDW every year and people avoid the Pop Warner game period if they can. The problems are caused by the parents getting drunk, starting fights and not controlling their kids. One team was so disruptive that Disney kicked them out of a resort in the middle of the night. Disney called in dozens of taxis, trespassed the team from the resort, and sent them to the airport.

That's a great video Pete.....been to that Walmart you mentioned.....even recognize some of those people in the video.:drink:

It's a street smart skill to avoid bad situations...
Early on, I was doing maintenance at a Section 8 property in East Oakland... the other guys wouldn't go there and were always getting into altercations...
I just kept my head down, said hi to everyone, complimented the parents on their kids and would pump up a few bicycle tires each visit on my own time...
I never had a problem and when there was a break in in the store room I let a few people know I was getting replaced because of it... never had another break-in because the word got out...

One of my favorite ways to deal with people having loud and irritating cell phone conversations is to stand right in front of them and act like they are talking to me. I get right into the conversation, just as loud as they are. It freaks them out, and I get a good laugh. Another of my pet peeves is the store clerk who answers the phone and proceeds to have a conversation while I am standing right there with money in my hand. I just walk behind the counter and start to check myself out. That freaks them out too. I just tell them to go on with their phone conversation, I really don't need any in-store service.

If you go out thinking you're going to run into "ugly Americans" that's exactly what you'll find. There have always been a few rude people in every circumstance and always will be. Once you start thinking they are in the majority and you start globalizing, i.e. all the handicap spaces are always taken up by people without placards - then the world becomes as you perceive it, not necessarily the world as it really is.
I shop in Walmart all the time. Folks in there seem mostly normal to me. With that in mind - most of the population in this country lives in urban areas. What sort of stereotypical thinking do you suppose they would be guilty of if someone asked them to formulate an opinion about a bunch of country folk who sit around on their computers and jabber on about their tractors? Do you think you would be viewed as intellectual or forward-thinking? Or more likely as just a bunch of hicks who ride around on their tractors in their pajamas?
