What have you pulled out of a tire?

I picked up a 4 inch piece of bathroom tile in a rear tire once. We were on our way to the beach with the grand kids when they were younger. Needless to say, that was a Bummer.

I was bush hogging a small area and got a hole in the tire large enough to hear the air escaping over the noise of the tractor. Nearby was a deer antler, not even broken.

A fork. A jaw bone of what looked like a dog. And the oddest is a 2" trailer ball. These were all on cars and trucks.

Mostly roofing nails. Found a utility knife blade in the wife's tire once (tires were new)

Large pair of needle nose pliers. Pointed end was in the tire, about 2/3 of the pliers was in the tire. This was on the rear tire of a tandem dump truck.

Then another on my Duramax truck, was an apparent large folding knife blade, handle had broken off. Blade was all the way into the tire.

The Les Schwab Tire dealer in town has a truck tire with a tree limb four inches in diameter stuck through the sidewall. I don't know the details but the limb is cut off on oneside and broken on the other.
I have had branch nodes from rotten trees puncture my truck tire.

A jack knife. The blade was sticking out with the HANDLE INSIDE the tire. The place that mounted the tire for me never could get it balanced after many attempts. When the blade came though the side wall and the tire went flat, I put on the spare and took the flat tire back to the shop. Guess what? They went out of business! Doors closed. Gee, I wonder why. The guy is probably still looking for his jack knife.

I spent 20 years in a truck garage, one customer backhauled scrap iron to melt and make their cast iron pipe. I have removed just about anything you can imagine from their tires. The absolute hardest thing to remove from a radial truck tire is a spark plug. That being said I have dug everything from car door handles to pitch forks out of their tires. Wrenches, brick hammers, trailer hitch balls, bolts, nails, screws. Dang I forgot how much I hated tire work.

I had the snap rings or whatever they are called that hold a U joint in a drive shaft in a tire two different times and had a pitch fork with the tines turned at a right angle about half way down the tine stuck in my rear tractor tire on my 255 massey. How it got in my hay field i will never know.
