Our overall garden is 48' x 48' with around 36 tomato plants. We plant lots of green peppers and sweet corn because wife freezes both of those. She found some way to freeze the Juliette tomato (small Roma style) so that accounts for six plants and many of the others are big slicers. We are in our mid 60's.
We succession plant onions, beans and edible pod sweet peas and I put in about 400 glads to brighten things up. We save the corms from year to year. There's also basil, cilantro, lettuce, spinach, beets, lots of onions, a couple zucchini and some cukes. I think that's it.
What do others do for garden size and how many tomato plants do you put in?
