Just bought a JD 4320 HSTC. During initial evaluation I noticed that there was greater wear on the front tires compared to the rear Ag tires. The seller said that was not unusual. There was not a great amount of loader work by the appearance of the bucket and other than proper pressure or alignment I don't know whether i should be concerned.
Please advise

Same thing as on 4WD PU frt tires wear faster because of the way the camber changes in turns.

The link above by TripleR is very good. Asphalt roads are hard on tires. Also, operating with front wheels engaged all the time is hard on the tires as well as the drive train. My elderly neighbor recently went thru a set of front tires quickly mainly because he never takes his tractor out of 4WD. Most manuals will specify engaging 4WD only when required for traction. Also, front wheel toe may need adjusted because of abnormal wear on either the inside or outside of the tread.

In 4wd the fronts are overdriven slightly to improve handling/maneuverability and thus are almost always slipping. As they wear their circumference decreases, lessening the effective overdrive condition. It wont handle as well, or have quite as much traction. Not too much of an issue usually.

Greetings. One reason for front tire wear is the fact the front tires must rotate more than the rear due to the smaller circumference. This means the front may have to turn two or three times to the rear's once. The material wears away quicker because it contacts the ground more times on the front than the rear.

Tx Jim,
Thank you for the info. I would like to ask for a price check. 2007 JD 4320 with 400x loader; 650 hours in excellent condition. The lowest he will go is 28,800.
What do you think
