I have to admit, I'm annoyed when I go to TBN from a Google search, and instead of letting me read the post, a huge banner pops up urging me to join TBN, so to avoid the pop-up, I have to make sure I'm logged in first.
I try not to get annoyed at much, but people dumping trash on my front right-of-way do annoy me. It's mostly beer bottles, so you also know they're drinking and driving. I don't mind hitting the cans with the mower nearly as much as the bottles.
I got a chuckle out the "metric" posts. We were on-track to join the rest of the world in 1983, but that was considered "anti-business" so it was one of the first things Reagan killed. That's why our cars are half metric and half SAE (can't call it "imperial" because even the British don't use it anymore) at a cost of many $billions a year. I get annoyed when I'm working on a piece of equipment, and the geniuses who owned it before me were too lazy to locate the correct thread, so they just jammed in whatever they had on-hand.
I do get annoyed at parasites who prey on the weak. I refer to payday loans and car title loans, but most especially car title loans. There's a car title loan company in town that has a big lot full of used cars for sale. Three guesses where they got all those low-miles cars for pennies on the dollar. All the people who used to have those cars are now poorer, and may not even have a way to get to work anymore. They can repo a car for non-payment of a $200 loan. It's evil, should be illegal, and they're obviously making money hand over fist, because it seem slike 2/3 of the ads on the Austin stations are for car title and payday loans (and the rest are for ambulance chasers). I'm annoyed that America seems to have gotten stupider over the last 50 years. I know I have, but the a big chunk of the rest of the country seems to have made a race out of it.
