I have my outdoor faucet in front of my house. With this summer's monsoon season I just want to rinse down my brand-new tractor to keep it in decent shape as well get the mud off. But I don't want my front yard to be a mud pit from the water and stuff coming off the tractor.
At some point in the future I'll run water to outbuildings and stuff below the freeze line.
What I'd like to do for now is just run a 100 ft regular water hose out about 75 ft out in a trench so I don't cut it while mowing but am not in front of the house making a mud pit.
I'm looking for a trench about 1 1/2 wide 2-4 inches deep. I'm thinking about taking a T-rail fence post and strapping it to the backhoe to dig the trench.
Dors anyone have a better idea?
