Well, I ruffled a few feathers ! But when it's all said and done the ( farmer who provided the help ) 1st advised him to drive it out , So did I. Then suggested disconnecting the mower and driving the tractor out and used chains to move the mower again so did I , So to the few who didn't like that I was right ,Have a nice day !
Your the man OH great one.I don,t know how we could survive without your vast knowledge.LOL.

And he obliviously tried that first based on the ruts in this picture and this one...
Then suggested disconnecting the mower and driving the tractor out and used chains to move the mower again so did I , So to the few who didn't like that I was right ,Have a nice day !
Careful, dont want to dislocate your shoulder by patting yourself on the back... About your suggestions though, you posted:
After looking at the pictures as best as I could why not drop the mower where it sits and turn the tractor around and use the loader to lift and pull it out ? ????? 1 20 foot chain and 5 minutes and your done !!!
Ok so wouldn't the best idea be to risk the mower and save the tractor by unhitching it and pulling far foward then take a 20 foot chain and just drag the mower away from the hole ??? Short of getting a helicopter and lifting straight up thats pretty much your option ??? Isn't it ???
Those your your chain related suggestions, neither of which involved using 2 loaders to lift and rotate the mower.
As wet as things look (especially here), a straight pull with a 20' chain would have just made more ruts. It needed to be lifted from both sides and moved at the same time or it would have slide sideways into the hole.
