As I was mowing today, I noticed a loud hiss coming from the left rear tire. When I stopped and checked it out, I notice the air was coming out of the valve stem. I couldn't get it stopped unfortunately and had quite a walk back to the truck. Anyways, my question is concerning the warranty on tires. I have had this tractor only a couple of months. Is this something new holland covers under their warranty?

You would think so. Is there a u shaped guard on the rim?

I didn't notice one. I have already called the tire shop to place a service call, but didn't know if I should be speaking with the dealer instead.

I seriously doubt that New Holland will warranty the valve stem.

I figure it is a long shot, but could have swore I was told the tires had a warranty as well.

Around here, some tractor dealers don't do tires, they send you to a local Ag/Industrial tire shop warranty or not. The valve stem probably is a long shot, but it can't hurt to ask.

it's such an easy fix if it is a tubless tire.. snatch old stem.. use a squeezevplunger tool to stick a new one in without even debeading tire.....

Where do you get one of these plunger tools?

my local tire place uses one. it's some kind of forcing cone. they lube up a vs. cram it in this tapered tube. shove the tube to the hole. do a fast move and grunt, then pull pack and there is a valve stem in the hole.

the remov ethe old one first with a 2 claw tool like a small hammer. it comes out.. thus it can go in..

I have seent hem on the internet too.

can do a valve stem in like 30 seconds, no debead...

rear tire wont have rubber valve stem. more than likely hit something and broke it. break one side down to replace 30 min job
