Doing heavy brush work or working in the woods, just remove the camera stick from the tube, install the O-ring sealed tube plug and be on your way no tools needed.

Well I for one am glad to see the thread up and also happy to see you MIGHT have agreed with me on the possibility of tearing the camera boom off with brush as I mentioned in the past thread because you've went back and re-designed it. Watermarking each photo. Good move.

Just to Make you feel a little better I will mount a front camera on the Grand L. Don't worry, not the way you did it. I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers

I love the step modification, I am going to see if I can get someone to fab one up for me, I am now using a step stool to get into my L5740.

As usual, well thought out and executed mods from the Waxer. Reminds me of just a few short years ago when we both had B3030 cabs and were messing with stereo installations and posting here about that.
Now our 3030s are long gone. You've moved on up and I've gone the skid steer route. Keep up the good and informative work!

Very nice work, looks professional. As for the vacuum I can see where it would be handy and useful.I always carried a brush on my previous L3240 to brush off the floorboards,I don't like having a bunch of crud under my feet.I like to have my tractors clean, probably too clean but that is how I am.I can see where brushing would be more difficult with a cab, mine was open station. The vacuum was a" fairly easy" install so if it makes life easier, why not do it.

WaxMan, great job on your modifications.

I do have a question. Is there much flexing on the steps when entering/exiting the cab? Since the steps are longer (taller) I wonder if you'll need to add a supporting rod to keep the steps from bending/flexing. Stanley

Very nice work on all the mods. One question, do you have any issues seeing the gauges past the steering wheel? I am thinking about putting gauges in the same spot but wasn't sure if the steering wheel would partially block the view.

Nice work. We'll probably see cameras like yours on tractors in 10 years. Read about the new Mercedes Benz S class auto and it's cameras ,radar etc. ....the future..... remember when ABS brakes were an option, now stability control, blind spot avoidance , lane departure , .....I have a 45 ft RV that could use about 6 cameras to take the guess work out of driving. Keep thinking Waxman, we need more like you.

Awesome job waxman! I wish you were my neighbor. Personally I would find a way to break that front camera. Seems like I'm always breaking something. Nice work though.
