- Kubota Tractor Loader L3560 HST+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3,700 pounds bare tractor, 5,400 pounds operating weight, 37 horsepower
Have not purchased anything yet, but still leaning toward the B3300SU w/out FEL as we have zero need for it at this time. Will be talking to the dealer tomorrow to hopefully finalize something. Why get the FEL?
You have owned and operated a tractor before, so you know your needs better than I. However, I find the FEL the single most useful attachment for the tractor. Just for picking up logs, using chains, and loading them onto your trailer is sufficient reason to buy the FEL.
I learned to tractor on a JD/Yanmar 750. I did a lot of log skidding with that tractor, which did not have an FEL. One day, boosting a log, I tore the Meniscus in my right knee. To summarize: $20,000 and eight months later I was pretty much back to normal. One incident like mine and the FEL will seem cheap. Consider age related wear and tear that will occur to your bod over the next decade......
Kubota dealer is only 20 minutes from our land.
Having parts, service and advice nearby is convenient.
