1025R vs 2032R vs Kubota ??

Have not purchased anything yet, but still leaning toward the B3300SU w/out FEL as we have zero need for it at this time. Will be talking to the dealer tomorrow to hopefully finalize something. Why get the FEL?

You have owned and operated a tractor before, so you know your needs better than I. However, I find the FEL the single most useful attachment for the tractor. Just for picking up logs, using chains, and loading them onto your trailer is sufficient reason to buy the FEL.

I learned to tractor on a JD/Yanmar 750. I did a lot of log skidding with that tractor, which did not have an FEL. One day, boosting a log, I tore the Meniscus in my right knee. To summarize: $20,000 and eight months later I was pretty much back to normal. One incident like mine and the FEL will seem cheap. Consider age related wear and tear that will occur to your bod over the next decade......

Kubota dealer is only 20 minutes from our land.

Having parts, service and advice nearby is convenient.

The dealer balked at my $13,000 offer on the B3300SU including filling the tires with fluid, stating that part would cost over $500 due to inner tubes etc.

Waiting to hear back if he has any sort of counter-offer. For 2014, will these prices be going up a lot due to emissions requirements?

Some dealers won't budge off their price.

Why were they going to put tubes in the tires?

No other dealers in your area have a B3200 or B3300SU?

Correct, no other dealers have B3200/B3300.

Tubes so the rims don't rust is what he said.

If you fill the tires, use something non corrosive like Rim Guard or washer fluid. No need to use tubes that way. Evidently your dealer doesn't know much about filling tires. Suggest to him that he knock off a couple hundred and you'll take it without filled tires and then do it yourself or take it to a farm tire store.

Come to think of it,,,, without an FEL there will be less need for filled tires anyway. But it does increase stability quite a bit.

Price will increase when dealer rolls over Tier 3 compliant inventory and has to order Tier 4 compliant inventory.

I have been considering a L3560. The Tier 4 price is $6000 more than the price on the Tier 3 machine. Will that difference be reduced by discounts? Who knows......no L3560 inventory is available from Kubota for the moment.

My Kubota dealer is pessamistic about new tractor sales for balance of 2013.

Our land is fairly hilly so I want the tires filled regardless.

I found another dealer that has a 3300 but is about 150 miles away. Waiting to hear back on pricing from them.

I drove 400 miles one way to get my tractor. My local Kubota Dealer never hesitated for a second to sell me some add on parts when I needed them.

I would guess delivery cost would be a minimum of $1 X 300 miles. Probably more like $400.

Yeah, possibly. Dealers will usually deliver 50 miles or less. You might use that for negotiation material. If you have a pickup and tandem axle cargo trailer you could haul it easily.
