Always like to see other 7.3's, see what mods were made, wishes, wants, likes, dislikes. (don't have a pic of mine right now but will post up when home)

This is my workhorse it has 330,000+ , I have a triple disc torque converter, a transmission cooler out of a 6.0 w/ gauges to monitor temp. and shift kit and cold air intake, 4" exhaust with towing tune and air bags
I tow with it almost every time it leaves the yard, it has been very reliable and gets decent mileage.
I forgot to say it is a 2000 model F250.

I had a 99 7.3L with a Quadzilla chip and intake. F350 SRW 4x4 long bed reg cab. Ran good but nothing compared to my 6.0L.

The 7.3 leaked a little but not a single repair till a deer took it out a few years back. Insurance company totaled it.

I have a 2000 F250 CC 4x4 with 350,000+ miles on it. Modified air Intake, trans, temp and boost gauges, trans cooler, 4" exhaust. Only normal repairs, alternator, water pump, glow plugs, starter (but I think that was actually my park/neutral switch not realizing it was in park and not allowing the truck to start) etc. Still waiting on the trans to go out so I can upgrade it and put a chip in it. Should have chiped it years ago but never dreamed the trans would last this long. Original injectors as well. It does not get used hard mainly unloaded but does pull the tractor and jeep around when needed.

I put a 2002 two bolt starter on mine and it spins a lot faster than stock 3 bolt starter, the local auto electric guy recommended it. The trigger wire connector had to be enlarged slightly to fit. It made a huge difference.

I have had a few of them. I bought a 2003 F350 4x4 reg cab srw and had it for about 18 months before trading it for a 4 Dr 350 4x4 6.0. Never had any issues with either one of those trucks. Also had a 96 7.3 4x4 drw dump that was always in need of something. Injectors, fuel rail, oil pan oil pan oil pan , cam sensor, tranny, torque converter, speed sensor, hi pressure oil pump... It never ended until I sold it. Yep, they got good power and tow well, but they are not with out their problems

Here is my 01. I put a triple disc TC in it with a lower stall. (in the gravel :( ) Also switched to a IH water pump with ELC coolant. I am gearing up for round two of modifications. Building a steel line regulated return, deleting intake air heater, deleting fuel bowl/heater, deleting EBPV with non ebpv pedestal and cutting butterfly out of exhaust. I will probably throw a Donaldson filter in too. When that's over the wife directed my "phase 3" to put 5" non muffled exhaust, powerstruck chip, and wicked wheel 2 compressor wheel. Unfortunately my truck is PMR positive so until I change rods I am capped right there. I really enjoy working on these trucks and would really like to get auto enginuity for the lap top so I don't have to troubleshoot everything with a meter.

Clampy and the Kioti. Clampy is an 89 F250 with 7.3 IDI with 252k on a broken odometer. Started life woth a local trucking company, worked for a fuel oil company, then onto myself and another guy as a plow truck. I love this truck and engine and am slowly restoring it to it's former glory!
