Rental Update...
Went in this morning to rent a Bandit Stump Grinder for 3 hours for $195 incl $20 damage waiver and as Jose' was hooking up the trailer to my truck he called the ower and I asked if there was a problem...
They couldn't let me leave the yard because the current year registration sticker was missing from my plate.
It's a real problem here and I have lost several even when using a blade to slice em... people go through the parking lot at work looking for stickers... especially folks that can't get vehicles registered because smog or fines...
I knew it had been taken and already paid for next years... so I wasn't going to pay for a duplicate with only a couple of weeks left.
Seems crazy to me since they had my license, business card and credit card...
Decided to save the money and just cut the stumps flush and if I ruin a chain or two, I will still come out ahead.
They did offer to deliver and pickup the 8 mile round trip for $150
