At 67.5%, less beer trips to the bathroom.

That's 135 proof...check me if I'm in error here, but I believe that yeast have difficulty surviving when the alcohol content gets up in the neighborhood of 20%. Is this stuff actually brewed to produce that much alcohol? Looks like it would be much easier to just add the extra alcohol.

Looks like they used freezing to up the content. I imagine, they freeze it and poor off the liquid that doesn't freeze, it would be high in alcohol. Unlike using a distiller to raise the alcohol content.

Don't think I'd be interested. Doubt if it meets the 1567 brewing standards.:)

Beer is the thirst quenching brew of the Proletariate.

That sounds like what they are doing which is not a new technique. It is considered distilling. People used to make Apple Jack, aka hard cider, with freeze distillation. The water freezes leaving behind a higher alcohol content. I do believe that the ATF, and very likely state alcohol agencies, consider freeze distillation illegal.

Well, I'm game to try it, if someone wants to split a bottle. I can't see it being worth the price for an entire bottle. I don't give that much for 1.5L of hard liquor. But I'd drink some of the beer, just to say that I had tried it!

I'd love to, FG...but I tend to get amorous when I'm drinking...and I'm afraid you'd hurt me...

In my opinion any "beer" artificially designed to go beyond the natural yeast limit of 18% isn't a real beer.
Might as well call it a vodka. Just my 2 cents...

Dark; I like vodka too! So, I'd still try the beer. Of course, I do have a sense of adventure.
