Where are you going to find hills in Mississippi?
I'm north of Fulton and I think we have some of the steepest hills in Mississippi coming up off the Tenn-Tom to Golden.
I'm pretty sure if your truck and trailer are in excellent condition it would be possible but not safe to tow it.
I've seen a lot worse.
But your best bet would be to find someone who lives nearby to tow it.
Too bad my dually is down. But I do have a 12,000 lb rated trailer.
/edit could you drop the bucket and take it separate?

We sold a 6400 lb. vehicle to a guy , he showed up with a car hauler similar to what you have.
The tires on the trailer looked like they were going to pop- and were rubbing on the fenders Sitting Still !
He gave up and had to call a towing company -they hauled it...

well I say hills, more like hollers. but im going to atleast try to load it. if it blows my tires ill call a tow truck and buy new tires im just worried about buying a 1500 dollar transmission haha. I don't have to go that far but its still going to be pretty epic. I have faith in those z71s though like I said before I hauled a 7400lb skidsteer on a trailer in worse shape with it and it seemed to roll fine. pulled it about 30 mins to the house but this is a little more but on a newer trailer but 6 year older truck. but same set up. but I wont hesitate to call a tow truck if it starts looking bad. im in the golden triangle

If your trailer weighs 1200 and has 2 - 3500 lb axles then putting an 8000 lb machine on it is a big mistake.

You may want to avoid Weigh Stations if at all possible.

You lost me when you described hauling your truck 4 FEET in the air, by the hitch, last time. And please tell me you have a Class IV hitch? (If you did already, sorry, I missed it). You're not using a bumper-mounted ball, right?
I'm sorry, but this can't end well, IMHO. Have you considered how a rollback is going to deal with loading up, on the side of the road, if there's a shoulder, and he's not level? When the low side tires of your trailer are the ones that blew, making the pitch even worse? He may not likey.... Traffic whizzing by, etc....?
I have Sirius XM, so I think I can get local news, anywhere. What is your zip code?
And I think $1,500. is an optimistic figure, to R&R an auto trans, and repair/rebuild it. Where I live, you can add another $1,000. to that figure, easy. Did I mention I try to drive sticks as much as possible?
It's rollback time, IMO, my friend. You can ride along--it's air conditioned. Enjoy the ride--it cost LESS THAN ONE TIRE. And if you overstress these trailer tires now, what if they don't blow until NEXT time, on some long trip/vacation, etc.... Potential delayed saturation bummer....
