My Boss plow is ready and I also have a KK 7 foot rear blade to play around with this winter.

I'm in that 10-14 band too, and I'm ready for it. Blower all serviced, chute waxed, new strobe light mounted on the ROPS.

If we get the winter some folks are talking about, I'll likely get tired of it, but in general I'm one of those sick puppies that LIKES moving snow. Especially now that I'm retired and don't have to get up and do it at 4 AM

Well I was ready for the foot they are predicting for my area but just this afternoon I went out and plowed off the one inch or ("chance of flurries") that I've been getting every day this week, and while I was doing the drive of my best paying customer I hit hard on a granite stair step that sticks out into the drive. I knew it was there just thought I was far enough over and wasn't. The pressure fed back through the lines and blew apart the coupling where the third function comes off one of the rear remotes. It stripped the threads so the fitting is junk. Off to the dealers in the morning for a new one and a couple of gallons of hyguard fluid. Good thing they have Saturday hours. Failing that at least it's stuck in the angle right position so I could keep everything open without the part if I had to.

Heading down to Trottier's, eh?
Boy, that really does suck!!

Well, I'm not too far from vtsnowedin and we're supposed to get somewhere between 6"-12" total by Sunday morning. Both the Gator and the Deere are fueled up and I have an extra 5 gallons on hand. There's an Eagle plow on the Gator and, since the prediction is for "light fluffy" snow, I expect I can handle 12" with no problems. But, if necessary, I'll use the 4400.

Nothing like a nice fluffy "dry" snow. The ground is nice & tight and I'm looking forward to it!:D

.
Not really, they take good care of me for a fair price, and today while the sun is shining, not next Tuesday after all the hay has got wet.

vt,

You might consider a pressure relief cross-over valve; my Curtis blade has one as an OEM feature.
