If it runs 24/7. The 1500 watt heater is thermostatically controlled so is depend and on space heating load.
There seems no shortage of jerk police out there, this is probably why a lot of officers seem become jerks over time though. This guy probably deserve to come across a jerk. $0 .05 of "free" charge time will turn into a $2000 lawyer bill to get off the charges. Lesson to be learnt: 1. Choose battles wisely. 2. Battling a Leo is useally wisely an unwise adversary choice!
3. If the school district (not the one you live in) where you go to play tennis has told you to stay off their property, stay off, or at least don't do 1 and 2 when you are trespassing on their property (as you are if you are on someone's property when you have been told to leave).

And making smart axe comments to the LEO about his polluting gas burning vehicle was not very smart either.

I see this happening more and more as electric cars become more prevalent. People will think that they can plug in anywhere they want and just get away with it. However, now that they've got the publicity they obviously wanted the charges should be dropped.
It's been happening for years where i work (government building). One person of note, lives in a van and he plugs in down at the end of one of the parking lots. Im assuming he charging battery's and etc. Then he moves off during the day to different areas. Others plug their cars in the car charging stations however those units only dispense power with correct authorization.

Never stole power but I do get robbed every month by the power co.

George think back to the '60's and the power company's were building nuclear plants and would be able to sell for Mill's per Kilowatt and there were generators sitting in a gas fields very cheap power. BUT the government could not allow this and had to have one or two government overseer's for every power employee ,. And Carter blocked the Natural gas generation since were going to run out of the gas.
Suddenly the mills became cents and kept raising as more Government employees were needed to check on the other government employee's. So don't blame the power company's.
Also read the telephone bill mine is $10.00 per month for basic phone service. And Fees and taxes makes it $22.00 per month.

Not pointing a finger at you just the subject of who is increasing the cost.

That goes with my idea that he is a penny-pinching cheapskate. He doesn't pay for a health club membership; he plays for free.

I agree 100%. The Govt. has been getting deeper into our pockets for years. I don't think any politician should have more than 2 terms and I don't think they should be able to vote themselves more money or benefits. That should be up to the working public.

This is how the law works now . They don't deal with any threats , easy money and DUI are the biggest gig .

Have a good example of how our government works in this county of Arkansas.
The county Judge over sees the expenses of keeping the roads graded and repaired. This last year 2013 he spent $1.574 million on rebuilding the roads.
Now we have last census 2012. 17,030. residences of which under19 years 19.9%
65 years and older 23.9% and Females ? 49.9 % with average income of per capita 81,600 bucks the medium income in county is $32,906
and below poverty level of 24.9%
now if you divide 17,030 into funds of 1.574mollion comes to about 92,424. per individual
So last meeting he comes to county meeting and asks for more money to complete the cost for the year. of $27,164 and no one seemed surprised at the amount.

Goes to show were on the wrong end of the stick.

My base TelCo bill is ~$35. However, add to that ~$20 in taxes and fees. Oh ya, and they charge me a $6 "Shortfall charge" for not making enough long distance phone calls every month!!! Bottom line ends up being about double of the plan they sold me. What a racket...
