That's a nice Xmas present, even better than a 10 pack of Life Savers.

I've almost got the wife convinced we need a Kubota UTV. She's right on the edge and if I pushed her now I'd probably get it but in the long run, it's better if she thinks that she had all the time she needs to weigh in. So I'm letting it simmer, taking every opportunity to point out what we can get done if we had it.

I had a similar story. Two years ago, I had an old completely worn out JD 310 and had wanted another TLB and had been working the wife for months for a L45 with no success. Had knee surgery on December 22, next morning she said she would be out for a while to pick my pain meds. Two hours later she drove up in front of the dealer truck loaded with a new L45 Christmas present. Best pain meds you can get.

Congrats, that is an awesome machine. Good choice on getting the thumb, I opted for it on my BH92 and it has been extremely useful.

That's a smart lady. She knows that you now have the ability and means to do some serious stuff around the homestead. She also knows that it will probably be pretty easy to get you to do those jobs. What you have to realize is that those jobs will need extra implements and accessories. She may be more inclined to agree that they are needed. It works for everyone! The amazing thing is that you can do so much work while sitting on your backside.
