The Airing of Grievances

Well that too...but I still shirk...(when I can get away with it...)
In the same respect as stated by the OP in a later post (#5)...
3. Some TBN members are shirkers.
...Continuing in that respect a thread about (absolutely true and original) excuses (for shirking) TBN members have heard or made could be amusing...

I can't do it, because I broke a fingernail! :D

A fair point -- perhaps I rushed to judgement.

The sentence could be rewritten as "To follow the herd is to admit cqiagy2's sheep."

Let's look at the definitions of "admit."

What do you think he had in mind for your sheep?;)

That is a good question. Number 6 comes to mind, but i don't really know the gentleman so i may be mistaken.

I agree. As the Chair (self-proclaimed) of this year's Festivus Planning Committee, I assign you the task of initiating the thread.

We also need someone to coordinate the "Feats of Strength" activities. Any volunteers?

Steve

It's a Festivus Miracle!!!

My apologies Mr Chairman, I was not expecting this ad-hoc appointment and duty. Prior commitments for the Christmas Hoilday have kept me away from this site for a couple days.

Imagine my relief when I found this post containing a festivus miracle. My compliments to the committee for selecting such a capable Chair.

A lot of you guys seem to be obsessed with chaps. Really, do you need butt free pants to access the "friendly politics" forum???

:)

Well that settles it..... I certainly won't be joining the friendly politics section. What the heck goes on in there?

Mostly just what you'd expect in a politics forums:laughing: I'm still not sure where the friendly part is at.

When you're trying to make a point and I see misspelled words and the words used improperly (like their/there) I have little faith you know what you are talking about if you write like a 4th grader.

Are our schools so bad that fourth graders can do no better than what we see here?;)

I just read( or tried to read ) this thread and I must say it is THE most convoluted bunch of ramblings I've ever read on here? CARRY ON!

Officer smstonypoint:star: or should I say Chief smstonypoint. Just curious if you are bonded :eek:ath: and have reciprocity with other forums so scofflaws can be traced. Are you allowed to carry a red pen, a pocket dictionary, thesaurus and some sticky notes to site these evildoers. I salute you for your endeavors!

Myself I think dangling participles should be banned as you never know when someone will say: Here hold my beer, I'm jumping off this here cliff! Then his friend drinks his beer :drink:while waiting on the ambulance, yelling shake it off! Without the D.P. said subject maybe would not be jumping and avoid injuring a perfectly good redneck and not lose his beer.

Carry on!
