Well I have no doubts the DK35se will move the bales a foot or two off the ground, but like I said, I have real doubt about stacking them to much height. But let me ask you this, how much difference in price is his DK35se vs the DK40se? you might want to stack bales some day..it never hurts to have more capacity. The size of the two tractors are nearly the same with the DK40, just ever so slightly larger. 1 inch in length. (wheelbase is 4 inches longer), and 1/2 inch more ground clearance (larger tires). and about 200 more lbs. The DK40se cylinders are larger, and the loader is slightly "slower". The DK35se is a very "fast" loader. the pumps are the same 10GPM for loader and valve operations. the Power steering section is separate. Keep that in mind when you tie into a one of those big bales, that the loader response is very fast, and requires a light touch on the joystick. I have gotten used to it and enjoy it now, but when I switched from a L3400hst I noticed the loader was much faster on the Kioti than the 6.8 GPM Kubota. The L3400hst lift is about 1100 lbs. so the DK35se extra 300 lbs is what you are looking at, plus a much larger curl power. You can really pry out a chunk of materiel out of the pile or curl some pretty impressive weights down low.
