Tangent yes, new no.

The Knights Templar originated and then joined with the historical roots of the Freemasons during the time of the Crusades. You may recall, I explored the implications of Freemasons and their association with important structures built upon Ley Lines. Yet another of my ideas you dismissed and derided as delusional, I suppose?

That's number six. Stockholm, here I come!!

Sir, I had no "triangle" theory. I was just pointing out that the observed pallet formations formed a triangle. I am not endorsing an "uppercase lambda" theory -- I am pointing out that the aforementioned letter resembles an inverted V. Steve

They also form a chevron, as is used in certain branches of the US military to designate enlisted personnel rank.

They also resemble a teepee, as in Indian lodging.

So?

What is the purpose of pointing out these observations if you are not intending even a loose correlation to the problem at hand?

I, for one, am still an Alienist Militarist theory proponent, and am not ashamed to admit it. Unless someone comes up with something cooler, then all bets are off. Or until Dave finds that the women of the Knights Templar are more attractive than he seems to have discovered.

I searched for "women of the knights templar." The results were not inspiring. Total dead end.

You need to work on your skills in searching the scientific literature. There is an image at http://www.yandy.com/image_view.php?h=BW_BW1080_C2013.jpg&s=images12.yandy.com&id=40868 that refutes your claim. I would post the image but I fear that it would distract those who are not fully committed to science.

Steve

Addendum

To avoid distraction, do not, I repeat, do not visit http://s2.hubimg.com/u/7278137_f520.jpg.

It's official, I'm abandoning the Alienist Militarist... I mean the Militarist Alienist, whatever... I'm putting my full time and energies into further investigation of the women of the Knights Templar! Dave, you disappoint me with your lack of worthwhile research subjects, as compared to what Steve has come up with.

Don't wait up...

Sorry, I should have been more concise. I did not find a history of women associated with the Knights in the correct time frame. The original written record of the Templar order is believed to have been destroyed in the 16th Century. We will never know for certain what tales were lost forever.

I concluded the Knights Templar were no fun at all: pray, fight, pray, fight ad nauseum. The Greeks/Spartans would be much more interesting.

Oh boy.

The recent spate of contributors condoning the destruction of pallets (whether erected or not) through carbonisation is, to say the least, disturbing.

Are they proposing the disestablishment of the structures that we are studying? This smacks of disestablishmentarionism and is a worrying trend.

I am against this. (if only I could find a word to properly describe my opposition to this cabal...)
