Buying a new GN trailer: tilt or deckover?

My dad sold his 12 ton equipment trailer last year after he sold his D4D and 941B loader...
It was a tag pintle rig with full tilt...
Very dependable and never gave any trouble...
He pulled it with his class 8 Volvo...
Those tilts do require a learning curve loading track dozers and loaders...
Not too bad once you get some experience doing it...
I've been looking on Craigslist for some time now and good used trailers are few and far between...
Like some here have said IF you find a deal jump quick...
My next trailer will be a deck over tilt if wifey approves...

Yeah, the deals for something used just aren't out there. I'm a CL hawk and I couldn't find anything even remotely decent in the used market.

It sure is a space-hog in the shop though! I'm going to build a lean-too on the back of my shop sometime later this year, and then I will move her out there so I have some more shop space back again.

I got one of these. Has a ball on top for a GN. While I don't have a GN, yet, I always find it easier to park a trailer with my tractor.
