To get maximum freeze protection from antifreeze requires 50% solution so almost halve the tire would need to be filled with antifreeze so the 6 o'clock position wouldn't work for that. I have been told that an easy way to get the product in is to hook a hose tightly to the stem and into the antifreeze holding tank, then slowly let the tractor down(tractor tire is jacked up to remove the weight) so that the side walls get compressed thus blowing out some of the air, then when lifting the tractor back up, the tire will try to come back to its shape and create a vacuum that sucks out the antifreeze from the tank into the tire. Repeat this till all the fluid is in the tire, just have to be careful not to break the bead on the tire rim.
EDIT: this is done with the stem at 12 o'clock position.

Are you implying that if valve stem is at 3 or 9 o'clock,tire jacked up AF can't be poured in valve stem on a deflated tire????? Not everyone lives in the frigid North that requires a 50% AF/50% H20 mixture. Slushy mixture is fine.

my dealer had a tire pop in his shop that had rimguard in it. said the place looked like a crime scene afterwards. I didnt ask what it tasted like :cool2:

I just replaced my 4 ply U.S.A. made Titan's tractor tire's on my 07 L3400, after 600 hrs. because of a bad 2" cut that was leaking Rim-Guard. I went with new India, or China made 8 ply AGPro 11.2-24, rear, and Chinese made Galaxy 6 ply, 7-16 front at $1,340.00, out the door at Stratham tire. not sure if these tire's are junk or not, but that' all I could find that could be put on here and now, after calling 2 tractor dealer's with there best time is 2-3 week's. I wanted U.S. made tire but they only had 2 Firestone's, $400.00 more, and no guarantee that they would better.

After I put them on, I wanted to check air pressure, called Stratham Tire to see if I could use a regular tire gauge on calcium loaded tire's, they said yes, put the valve stem at 12:00, then I ask them how much air they recommend, they said 25 psi on rear, I've had my old tire's at 18 psi. My front was 36 psi. I usually run 34, but the rear tires, WOW, one was 38 psi, and the other was a lot more, so with my 50 psi tire gauge, I let some air out down to 24, but the tire still seems to hard, I think I'll let some more air out down to 20 psi., and like the first post was saying, seam's like mostly calcium come's out when I let air out, I think the garage put way to much calcium in the tire.

If they did put too much, make sure to drain out a little -- you need a decent cushion of air in loaded tires, otherwise something is gonna blow.

I have the tire valve stem at 12 when I let the air out down to 20psi, but calcium still come's out, why does it still come out if the stem is at the top?, is letting air out of the tire acting like a syphon hose, and will drain out to much calcium?, I don't get it big Dan.

But at 20 psi, the tire's still seam to hard, at 8 ply with hauling a log, the tire's should still squat a little, I don't like the rear tire's that hard, I like some give to them when I go over stumps and rocks hauling out logs. I have 2 air gauges, within 4lbs. of each other, and one for RimGaurd, is keep checking calcium loaded tire's gonna ruin my gauges?

Sounds like they are mostly full of water. I'd pee some out and refill with air. If you have access to a sewer connection, the salt water will be diluted by the huge volume in the sewage system. That is what the guys at the tire shop told me they do.

My new tires from Stratham Tire, AG Pro on the rear, and Galaxy on the front, as near as I can tell I got the rear tire pressure down to 15-18 psi from the rock hard 35 psi plus, I don't now how they didn't blow the tire with that much pressure.

The rim needs to be covered with solution on the 12:00 or it will rust out. Relax it is normal to get some stuff checking pressure.
