Congratulations, being a parent was the hardest yet most rewarding, enjoyable things my wife and I have ever done. Be sure to takes lots of pictures as well as videos and I recommend keeping a baby journal. You may think you will remember all those things they do, but nothing like being able to see them all again.

A lady that I work with just had her first child a few months ago. The funniest thing that I've heard her say, and I agree with entirely, is:

"I thought I was busy before I had a baby. I realize now I didn't know what busy was...

Children are blessings and trials rolled up in one; and if you're lucky, for better or worse, from now on you'll be a parent until the day you die...

It sure this is the right place to post this but, we just found out today that my wife is pregnant with our first child. We are waiting a little while to tell family/friends but I wanted to tell someone. We have been married nine years now and have waited to have kids till now but since I am almost 32 it is time. I'm very excited and a little scared at the same time, but I'm sure it will be a great blessing.

Congratulations!!!! Enjoy them while they're young. Before you know it, they're grown and leaving. Good luck to you and your wife. :thumbsup:

Congrats. We were both 29 when our first was born. He is almost 1 now. Hard to believe it's been a year. Take lots of pictures they grow up fast.
