I agree, but the way that wide front pops out at you pulls me in.

I really like the old fords with the Elenco 4wd add on kits. Those things are simply gorgeous. I really wish when New Holland came out with the retro 8n's that they didn't get so fancy with the technology and transmission. It's a perfect example of a situation where everyone wanted one of those tractors but they literally priced themselves out of the market.

Maybe someday New Holland would reintroduce a legacy series with the old ford look. IMO that tractor design and layout is timeless. It is what a tractor should look like. For now we can only hope and if they ever do not to make them so darn expensive.

I am new here and as I am restoring emails I have some time to kill....my two bits.

I collect old cars, I currently have 4 Opels, 1 Triumph, 2Fiats. This same thing comes up on those pages, and the classic motorcycle site as well. Personally and I know it is sad but those cars, bikes and tractors are going to have a smaller and smaller group of people that are interested in them. There will always be people that love them and want to have them but they are going to be fewer and fewer as time goes on.

Me too... seems not nearly as much interest from the next generation.

My nieces and nephew are not allowed to ride in cars without airbags and abs... this leaves out every car that I own but one.

Took my niece out for ice cream a couple of years ago with the 62 corvette... had her car seat all buckled in... we really had a great outing on a perfect afternoon.

There was **** to pay that night when they came to pick her up... and it came from my brother and not sister in law.

I've never had a ticket in my life and I'm very careful with the cars I've spent hundreds of hours restoring...

Last week, I was rotating tires and one of the neighbor kids that comes over to air his bike tires asked me what I was doing... Just then his mom came over and he said he was learning to change a tire... his mom told him they have the autoclub to do that...

And that about sums things up.
