Loader leveling rod

Guesseral - when the end of the rod is 'flush' with the end of the tube, the bucket is level.

azranger, that may be another downfall to the G series. I know the R series there is essentilaly a 'set screw' for the outer tube, allowing you to move it as needed.

Side note....

I am working on an electronic setup that would be universal to all tractors indicating bucket level to ground. If all goes as planned, you will also be able to tell the angle the tractor is on, and even optionally angles of 3pt implements....

Stay tuned! I will announce more in the LS forum first as we progress....

Awesome! I've never understood why this wasn't an option.

Ok if the end is flush at level set the bucket level measure the distance it is down inside and cut off the end of the tube.

Ok I'll be dumb and ask. How does the rod tell you when the bucket is level with the ground? What am I missing?

The tip of the rod should be flush with the top of the sleeve when the bucket id level.

I have considered this, also thought about adding to the rod.
Mangu580, im interested in your setup, keep us posted.

Another LS owner interested in your level indicator!

azranger, was your setup correct when you purchased or has it always been off? Guide rod too short, guess you could cut the sleeve a bit to compensate, too long, just paint a ring on the guide rod to indicate level.

mangus, sounds interesting. will be waiting to see the completed project.

Sounds great mangus580, can't wait to see what you come up with.

Mine is the same way, it is flush when the bucket is level but when I use my pallet forks it is way off. It sticks out about 3 inches so I am doing what another poster said and painting a line where the forks are level. Another idea might be to cut the outer tube down a bit and ad a clear plastic tube extension and put indicator marks for whatever attachment you are using. I have 4 different quick attach units and they are all level at different settings.

The tip of the rod is supposed to be just flush with the tube when the bucket is level. I use mine all the time, once you get used to it , it works really well fine tuning the cut the bucket makes to the soil. hope that helps.
