That would have turned my loan into a hybrid loan where I'd be paying interest on the implement for the entire length of the loan. It's much cheaper to just buy the implement outright. A post hole digger and pallet forks are in my very near future. Any recommendations for a good 3 pt. post auger?

I just keep my 74 inch rototiller on the back when I do serious FEL work. It is heavy and compact. Saves having yet another thing to store and hook up for ballast. I got a bigger bucket with mine but I am sure you will like the tractor as much as I do.

We bought a 5100 about two years ago and it has been an excellent machine. I think you will really enjoy it and be surprised how capable it is.

As for the balast drum, I'm wondering if you could fill the lower half with rocks or sand, then fill the rest to the top with cement.

Think your wrong there both my kubotas I have bought last and this year bought had landpride implements added to the loan at 0% for the life of the loan .

I bough them both on the 0 down 0 interest.

That's the number. Just did this a couple months ago. Drawbar through the barrel tied to framework for the top link connection, a couple 3" PVC pipes for yard tools. 11 bags got me about 4" below the top. Much less pucker with that hooked up.
