Tractor
none
....for my 40 acres in southern Arizona (Patagonia). Lots of hills, washes, oaks to keep and mesquites to get rid of.
I want to build a small pond (~1 acre), plant a small orchard (~80-100 trees) and grown about 11-14 acres of wine grapes.
I'm looking at a CK2510 Kioti, but dealer support is a long way a way. Thoughts?

I think you need to be looking at something bigger.
Like closer to a 40-50HP machine

A 40 HP is a good size of for that amount of acreage. Not to big so it is easy to get into tight spots but big enough to handle a 1500 pound round bale.
What dealers are near you? Most of the top brands are about equal in quality however you need to sit each brand and find one that fits you ergonomically. What is good for one is not necessarily good for another. I have a Kubota B26 and an LS P 7010C and both are fine machines. I hear good things about Kioti but dealers are scarce. There is actually more LS dealers close to me than Kioti.

You look to be a hour or so from Tucson? You should have good dealers of some major brands there. Where is the Kioti dealer?

For vineyards and orchards you need a narrow tractor. Deere and Kubota offer specialized vineyard/orchard narrow tractors.

Some Deere narrow tractors are re-badged Europeoan vineyard/orchard tractors; nothing wrong with them, but be aware.

Kubota makes all its own tractors.

I expect other brands have narrow tractors too.

I do not think a CK2510 has enough power nor weight to pull a standard grape gondola loaded with harvested fruit on even a slight slope (5,000-6,000 pounds).

If you intend to spray fungicides with this tractor EPA regs may mandate a cab with positive air pressure, rather than an open station tractor.

RE: WARRANTY / TRANSPORT COST

Transporting a tractor on a heavy duty trailer, towed behind a heavy duty truck, with a paid driver/mechanic, fuel and ample business insurance is expensive.

If the dealer trailers your tractor in/out for service, warranty or otherwise, his transportation COST is going to be $1.25 per mile, which will NOT be covered by the warranty.

If you transport your tractor, your cost will be the same, if you value your time appropriately.

So, for a tractor dealer 50 miles away, transport cost in/out will be 200 miles X $1.25 = $250.

Unlikely dealer will be willing to transport at cost.

Dealer proximity is an important cost consideration.

North of Tucson, in Casa Grande, about 140 miles from my farm.
