A little over 1" in both gauges when I got back to ranch this afternoon. Most likely from yesterday.

Glad to have it!

When I gave my dad the rain report like that he told me that's enough rain now.
I told him it's not enough until someone comes on the news and tells us the drought is over.

We've been in central Texas since last Thursday. Our rain gauges agreed on 3/4" being what happened while we were gone. BTW Bird, I have ten pounds of Lee County Peanuts for you when we can arrange a meet up. See you soon.

Never "enough" rain? I would prefer a 1/2" rain every Monday and Thursday BUT, will take whatever the Good Lord sends us.

.15 yesterday. Nothing today. But the cloud cover and breeze kept the temps down. It is marvelous outside, considering it's the end of June.

We had a little shower the past two days, just enough to have to stop working and dry off: .18 and .31"
My mailbox entertained some kids the other night so Harvey put a pole on a non-bashable receptacle.

Mike - are you operational? I bet these showers are messing with your painting schedule.

77 degrees in Colorado County now. A nice breeze and very pleasant sitting on back porch with a nice cigar and some of Lynchburg's finest!

Life is good!

Don he has that thing working like a fine oiled machine. I hit the free exit wand when leaving with the fifth wheel and it opened like it knew what it was doing. Speaking of painting, how's the mailbox coming?

Haven't had any Lee County peanuts since my 70th birthday party more than 4 years ago. And of course haven't personally visited the Lee County Peanut Company since the Sell family owned it.
