I forget.. Was a manual trans with the diesel going to be an option?

The manual offered w the diesel is still up in the air. The only manuals we have built have been paired w the I4 gasser.

We have built a few I4 gassers with standard tranny. Still up in the air on pairing one w the diesel.

Offering a manual at all is a start, and good in my books!

Agree. Sorry for the double post. Got knocked off. Didn't think the first sent. We will be building gas fleet trucks for Forest and Game. A no frills manual 4x4. A lot of interest has been shown on here for this type truck. I would love to see a diesel 4x4 paired w the manual myself. Would make a great farm/work truck.

I do not see the Honda Ridgeline look myself, I do see the big brother 1500 Sierra and Silverado pedigree tho

If the mileage is not going to be better than the 1500 I do not see a benefit though

It looks like a 3/4 size Silverado/ Sierra to me.

This should very quickly prove or disprove Ford's theory when they dropped the Ranger, that the new 150, with excellent fuel economy, will loose minimal sales to the new GM mid size. Ford thinks the only people these GM's will hurt will be Toyota and Nissan.

We shall see.

I see some similarities in looks to the '13 Tundra. It is a good looking truck. I have owned several Chevy trucks and overall they have been good to me. The muscle car guy in me would like to see an SS version with the 6.2!!

For well over a decade, manufacturers believed people like me didn't exist. I've been driving my 94 6.5 TD 1500 waiting for this time to come. Where I live, diesel is widely available. 6700# towing capacity is plenty for me. I have no use for a 3/4 ton truck. I like what I've read about the vehicle and could live with the 3.6...I already own two. I'd love a diesel, though.

i agree, my tacoma is the perfect size truck for me. If they offered a tacoma in diesel form i would like that i think. Or if this new canyon is reliable ang gets 30+ mpgs would be a great truck:)

The old Colorado could be ordered with a 5.3. Maybe the new one will get the new 5.3 in it. It would be pretty fast with 355hp. They could do a 6.2 with AWD and call it a Cyclone.
