CK35 HST Price Check FEL & BH

Hi, The DK40SE HST is 22,220. Is it worth the extra $3430? Also, what's the length (either tractor) with the FEL? I'm trying to figure out if I could maneuver around the poles inside the barn (8' width, 10' length) without the BH.

One issue regarding maneuvering - you can't (easily) see the back of the tractor. Vastly magnified issue with the backhoe.

So just because there is room to drive by an obstacle doesn't mean you can turn and still miss it.

I haven't taken out any fence posts yet, but my backhoe stabilizers have scraped a thing or two! :laughing: My front gate is 12' wide, and the backhoe threatens it every time I go out (I have to begin turning before I'm all the way through the gate).

Hi, the DK40SE HST is 22,220, and including the slight price difference of the BH, the total difference is around $3100. Would this be worth it?

Also, does anyone know the length of the DK or the CK (40 / 35) with the FEL? I'm trying to figure out if I could maneuver inside the pole barn (32 x 40... pole every 8 feet in width, every 10 feet in length).

Yeah, I'd take off the backhoe if I was in the barn. I've come very close, in the past, to taking out part of the barn with various equipment I've rented.

134 vs 122" so 12" difference assume that is the bare tractor - the Fel should be similar

12" up get 16 gpm hyd flow vs 12 and a lot more lift capacity 1155 vs 2700 lbs

Hi,

So the CK35 is 15 feet and the DK40SE is 16 feet. I redid the math last night (the dealership gave me a full price sheet on everything Kioti) and the price difference is exactly $3430.

That's not a lot considering how much more tractor you are getting - weight wise too for BH work I think that would be my choice - as if you finance it that's a 100 a month for 3 years - and resale will be better and if you are doing anything with round bales, or a pallet of materials 1200 lbs is not enough lift to do a pallet of feed/bricks/block etc.

Hi,

I'm going with the DK. Carl, you said is best (and what everyone else is saying too)... it's not a lot extra considering all the things I need to do with it. And yes, I need to lift pallets of wood pellets on and off trucks, lift round bales up and into the 2nd floor of my barn, scoop muck, lift / carry large pieces of slate up and down semi-mountains...

My last choice now is HP. I think I'd be okay with the DK40.

The DK45 hst is 23,700. The DK40 hst is 22,220.
