I don't know about your hunting dogs, but when I'm out hunting with my dogs I can't believe what they end up eating when they find something! YUCK.
Anyway, think about the history of canines. They survive in the wild by a big kill and then gorging themselves on raw meat and the residue for quite some time. I don't think mixing venison with dried dog food will do the slightest harm. It may even be better to feed the venison raw.
While I do it in small measures at times, I've heard mixing raw and dried together (in quantities) isn't that good a thing to do and causing some serious problems. Something about the differences in the digestion rates of raw meat and bones vs dried dog food.
