If it weren't for TBN, which implements would you NOT have bought?

Boy this site gave me all kinds of ideas.
Number one on the list is a thumb and tooth-bar for the bucket(my most useful)
Number two is my FEL mounted snow plow
Number three.....just built a tree shear for the FEL(trying out today) and pictures as soon as painted.

Dang it. I forgot about the Bro-Tek Ripper Tooth for my backhoe. My work would be MUCH harder without it. It might be the best purchase I've made.

I had no idea there was even such a thing as a ripper tooth until I saw it mentioned here.

With the information on TBN I found out I desperately needed a: Backhoe, box blade (with top and tilt), grapple, ratchet rake, tooth bar, forks, tiller, in other words all but my mower and straight blade and FEL.

Ripper tooth? Do I desperately need one, let me check to see what they do . . . . and on it goes . . .

You know, you have a point there. I suspect there are an awful lot of us that have spent a lot of money by networking here and learning about things we have never heard of or didn't understand the value of until shown here in words and pictures.

I agree that many forums are like that, people like to spend other peoples money, but I honestly believe that TBN is by far the worst. Someone will come ask what tractor they need, with a budget of say 10 grand for instance, and within two posts we are convincing the poor guy he has to spend twice that to even get into something that will work !


In fact, as much as I really do love this forum, I appreciate "other" forums as I'm often pleasantly surprised at the replies. Many times with forums like forestry forum and hearth.com, you find the majority of users saying to use "what you have" or "find a good used such and such". You almost never see that here.

This is by far the "rich mans forum" when compared to so any others.
