jsftractors, Thanks, I will look it up in the service manual tonight when I get home. I just ordered the service manual and received it last week. Funny how the dealer said I had to bring it in. Guess he was trying to get some more cash out of me with doing the 50 hour service.

Did you order your service manual through your dealer? What did it cost?

I ordered it through the AGCO site. There are two separate manuals, the engine manual and the rest of the tractor manual. I bought the rest of the tractor manual and it was $108 delivered. I bought it mainly to make sure that I did everything correctly with the hydraulic fluid change. I found out the owner's manual is just as good for that task.

Was there a plug w/pigtail in with your owners manual? I asked my dealer what its for, nobody seems to know.

Backhoe is on backorder. Hopefully coming soon, pics to follow.

I live in Central Texas with a couple of dealers within 90 miles. They laughed when i told them what i wanted and said that they don't carry those especially in the hydro models. The dealer had to go to Florida to get mine and that dealer wasn't too eager to give it up. I can tell the dealer in Florida was along the coast because my new tractor is covered in rust spots. Unbelievable that it could be that rusty. I haven't changed the fluids yet, have to wait for the filters from the dealer and have to wait for the temp in my metal shop to drop below 100 degrees. Would love to see a picture of yours with the backhoe on it.

Can you describe the 2 ends of the pigtail that was included with the service manual ? Below the right side of the steering wheel just above the platform is a cap covering the ECU connection point. One end of the pigtail doesn't fit this connection does it ? I would not expect this to be included with the manual because the diagnostic program is not available to consumers. Curious.....

No, there wasn't a pigtail included. It was just a thick stack of paper that was 3-hole punched for a binder. These were service manuals, not owner's manuals.

Found the procedure in my service manual last night. Boy, they sure don't like to give any more detailed info than they have to in that manual. That is one of the most poorly written manuals that I have ever looked at.

It took me all of 30 seconds this evening to get it changed over to mph without taking it to the dealer 90 miles away.

Yeah, can't argue the lack of good detailed information in the manuals. Sounds good though, at least got it switched over quickly without wasting a day back and forth to the dealer.
