I am in Glencoe which is 50 miles west of Minneapolis.

Looks like the worst of the storm up that way will be tomorrow. You guys drive carefully, especially hauling precious cargo like that.

Eric, with a bit of maneuvering, that new box blade should push snow just fine until you decide which way to go on something more specialized.

Malibu 496, if you're 50 miles west of Minneapolis, there's got to be a story behind your user name. :)

It referred to this car I used to have, it was a 80 Malibu with a 600hp 496 engine.

I bet it was hard to keep rubber on those rear tires.:D

Oh, and I'm still smelling anti-freeze. :(

I really need to get the right radiator adaptor because my universal one isn't sealing good enough to do a longer term pressure check. After looking around, it seems like I should pick up a new "master" coolant pressure tester kit since time stands still for no man, and there are many new radiator necks out there.

In preparation of chasing off, I attached the box blade for transport.

BTW, Everything Attachments, what color paint are you guys using? The transporter rubbed a pile of of paint off and I want to rattle can on more.
Great deal on OTC Tools 7991 at ToolTopia.com These are an alternative to buying a whole set of or kit of adapters- great for the occasional user. :~}

I bet it was hard to part with! Good memories, though.

I'm a little brief because our snow has been upgraded to 12" inches and I don't want to pull my tractor through it so I'm scrambling to get out of town.

Yea, those clowns pay no mind to shiny new paint! We use New Caterpillar Yellow, like this: NAPA AUTO PARTS

The new musical ETA commercial is pretty catchy! Ted needs to get you an outdoor cameraman up there, but we prefer to work outside when the temp is above 60!!!

Cameraman? That'd be much too advanced for me!

I did make a video. I would have made an in-cab video of actual use, but everything is fogging up.

Anyway, I got out of town before the snow hit. I hear that 20" is sitting on my driveway as I type with more coming.

Once up north, the next morning I took in my dock in 12 degree weather just as it began snowing in northern Minnesota too.

Chased over to the new parcel and fired up my tractor.

My new T-stat works better than stock. Set the idle speed at 1500 rpm. Any faster without a load and the engine cools off. Any slower, and again the engine cools off.

I used my new Everything Attachments box blade to cut through about 2" of frost and start leveling a turn-around I making for delivery trucks.

And, of course, I'm updating this thread from the local Social Club.

Congrats on your successful escape from town, and on your thermostat solution. Looks like the Trailer Queen is right at home in the snow.

I just noticed the damage to your right rear fender, ouch! I must have missed the post describing that close encounter. Was it the same one that damaged your cab top?
