Was just out in the garage getting the PT ready for the upcoming snow storm.......chains on the tires....lube......rubber mat on the plow......and I kept getting a whiff of something burning. I had the garage door open so I thought it was coming from outside somewhere......kept checking and couldn't track it down. Finally came time to check the air filter and oil levels so I swung the seat off the engine compartment and saw the compartment full of crispy leaves! I have no idea how or when they got in there but that was a disaster waiting to happen! So now that fall is over and snow is on the way go out and check your engines for stray combustibles......haha.......Jack

Good point! I use my 422 a lot in the yard, cutting grass and mulching leaves in a 3 acre area. I NEVER put her away after a job w/o hitting it with the leaf blower...front to back and everywhere in between that I can get at.

I run chains on all 4 wheels on mine. Clearance was always an issue. Some that flip their wheels have more clearance. When JJ was kind enough to let us know about a great deal on tires and rims for my tractor, i bought some and then made adapter plates so that I could use them as singles on my tractor (tractor is setup for duals) with much greater clearance than the factory setup.
