Yes it dose and the LS has more breakout force. They both are great tractors imo that's why this such a tough decision for me.

I would consider a skid steer for what you are wanting to do.

I agree with most of the others, I have a Tier3 LS and I love it, but if I were you I'd get the Kioti Tier 3 (much less complicated & less things to go wrong). Get the rear tires loaded & the 2nd remote and maybe get a diverter valve plumbed in for your future front grapple or snowblower.

I thought about getting a skid steer but I want to get something new with a warranty plus with heat and a/c.

I think I am going to call the dealer tomorrow and try to iron out the final details. I am not sure if I can talk them into loading the tries on the deal or not

Skid steers tear up the ground too much. IMO.

I am looking to purchase a new tractor soon and I have narrowed it down to two tractors. Front runner at the moment is a new left over 2013 dk40se hst with cab for $28500.00 I know these dk series tractors are hard to find now . The other tractor is a Ls xr4046hc for $28000.00. The LS dealer is about a 100 miles from me and the kioti dealer is about 30 miles . I have spent hours researching and would like some opinions. Thank you very much.

The only downside to the Kioti is that it's a bit short on PTO power for a machine that size. My dealer said they wouldn't order a DK cab model with less than 50hp unless someone requested it...that was just their opinion. If you live someplace with hills, it might be a factor. Other than that, the Kioti has a significantly better loader based upon lift height (like 11" more). The Kioti FEL bucket is a bit small, but that wouldn't sway me.

The primary downside to the LS is the lack of lift height for the FEL. I had an LS R4047H, and with the same loader ran into issues trying to load my neighbor's 5yd dump truck, and 30yd rolloff dumpsters....I could just barely mange to load them...plenty of power, just not enough lift height.

Between those two, I'd probably go for the Kioti and keep my implement sizes reasonable for the available PTO power.

Thank you for the info. I am planning on going to the kioti dealer Friday to see if we can get the deal done. They said they would fill the tires for me. I have a few questions about filling tires. What happens when you get a flat and will it cause the rims to start rotting after a long period of time?

Have them filled with RimGuard (beet juice)
