Hey guys I'm into my second kioti, had a 2012 CK35 fro 2 years Great machine but loader frame issues!!! And hst pump replaced under warranty at 400hours!
I just bought a 15 kioti NX5510 hst cab ($33200) love it so far I use it on my sow plow sites now and farm other bit of time! Got it 12/5/14!!! Got one set of remotes, rear wiper, and radio!! Don't see much use for more then one remote!!! Dealer installing front loader remote for grapple next month!!waiting for hard lines to come from factory!! Put 65 hours on it past few snow storms!!! Machine is an animal I also run a 6' sno blower on 3-point!!! Can't see why all you put a plow blade on the front???? The Bucket does a great job or just put a pusher blade on!! And use plow on truck!! Once you put that plow on tractor your screwed and can't use bucket to stack snow!!! Also don't know why some of you have problems heating up cab? I start up and heat is blowing hot in 5-10 minutes and that's when it's 1 degree here I haven't put a plug on it starts easy! Maybe down the road!! We don't go below -10 here in NJ!!
I've owned many tractors I'll list as I update my page!! (Ford1710 was from when I owned that machine lol) trying to change my user name!! Ok I will add any advice I can give when I can!! But this new kioti I love!!

Enjoy your new tractor!

Why heating issues? Because in Northern Minnesota where we regularly set the lowest temp records for the lower 48 States, our diesel is mixed 50/50 with diesel 1 or kerosene. As a result, the engine makes less heat when running because the diesel 2 is diluted more than the diesel you're buying so as to avoid waxing.

My factory radio cost $275.00 and my dealer also charged shipping. I would have skipped that purchased had I know about the right adaptor from the get-go.

Why a plow? Because plows are cool for really, really long driveways.

I bought my 5510 shuttle in late November, and installed all three remotes , and bought a Pyle radio with NOAA and the other features I wanted for 48 dollars, and no issues with the electrical. Working on installing the 3rd function today , but can't finish it till the 2 BSPP 1/2" to jic adapters get her next week.

I've heard people talk about "gremlins" static with a different radio! Cutting and splicing a different plug etc that's what I meant by aggravation! Also I wasn't yelling lol

I hear that on the long driveways but I use my truck and plow for that! A pusher blade works just as good on machine plus quick release! And 1/3rd cost! Being able to scoop snow and stack it my way to go actually I use mostly the snowblower on machine

A little generic NX series update from the Tinkerage. We're going to do a test of making perforated holes in the next run of the new Hypertherm plasma cutter on the plasma table next production run to see if we can make our own 3/16" perforated pattern with round holes and no dross and if it makes sense to do so given the time and electricity costs.

Anyway, we're hoping to make a run of NX series grill guard inserts with 3/16" perforated holes in either 1/8" plate or 3/16" plate since the cost of 4x8 sheets is about the same. The top insert will have the space for the headlights to shine through the grill guard insert in kind of the top half of a maltese cross, while the bottom will be a rectangular piece. Both pieces would allow with welding into place or bolting into place.

I'm thinking the inserts should be black to match the NX series grill.

Very cool, Erik. This would be nice for anyone doing much work in the woods, and especially good for someone with a grapple that has no expanded-metal back wall.

Everybody does the expanded metal thing, and though functional, it isn't cool. We've got a new cutter that we're told it can whack through 1-1/4" material without dross, so we're going to give this a try. My brother is making the DXF file right now. We're just not sure if we want to use perforated stock to begin with, make our own perforations, or cut out an edge and weld in a perforated center. The cutting tip is 0.060" and the tip would start in the middle of the hole and then cut the outline of the hole. We're not sure what wears out tips. Starting and stopping or continual use. We're also not sure how fine of a hole we can make that still looks good. In other words, we're playing.

Don't forget to upload us some pics as you experiment Eric!
