I pushed out my neighbors drive yesterday. She paid me with a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies. I turned those down, right down my throat. :thumbsup:

I keep my neighbor's driveway clean every winter. The day after I clean it out she shows up with a big container of baked stuff, cookies, bread, etc. It almost makes me glad for winters like this one, but I'm gaining weight.

Grand total over two days was thirty eight drives. Got calls this morning from people a mile or so away asking if I would clear their driveways. Going to a funeral this morning then out again.

Some drifts higher than my fenders.

Been interesting.

The last two snows we had older gentlemen who lived down the street needed his driveway cleaned so got in tractor rode down the road and cleaned it up for him. He was 92 and died two days later from a bad heart.

Couldn't of been TOO bad of a heart - it lasted him 92 years!

Yes.....my arms are getting sore from patting myself on my back.

One neighbor sent me a box of pears from Harry and David. I do NOT like pears but these were delicious. Eight of them gone is four days. Sweetest, best fruit I have ever had the pleasure to eat.

I'm on the road all week. When we got our snow last week my neighbor and long time friend, who is welcome to help himself to my tools and garage when I'm not around, used my tractor to clear the road and drives. I arrive home to find goodies on my porch, envelopes with money in the mailbox, thank you notes.......

I'm going to try to return all the money, eat the food and let those who sent notes know it was really mike, Everyone around here has started calling me Blue Tractor Jack since a few of the young ones tagged me with that at the community BBQ last fall...... Not so sure I'm going to tell Mike though, some of these cookies are really good.
