Tractor News T5 coming with Autocommand?

Maybe we are mincing words here but New Holland does call this CVT and the operators manual on the Boomer 3050 stated CVT on the cover and inside..
I paid a extra 5k for the option!
Look at this page and then on the left click on "Easy Drive CVT" transmission for pictures and explanations...

NH calls it a cvt so I must be wrong. It's strange that they don't offer Auto Command in anything less than a 150 hp Ag tractor but that they offer a cvt in a boomer. I have to believe they are different systems.

Ahhhh I see it now. The easy drive cvt is a belt driven system like you saw in the early automobiles. I can see why it would shut down to protect itself. That belt goes and you are in for a heap of repair bills.

After watching the YouTube link it is obvious that the Autocommand and CVT have little if nothing in common. Somehings new are really old. My 1919 Ford Model T has a planetary gear transmission and I see it is part of the Autocommand system!

Oh you got that right. I've been drooling over the T6 for months now. Way more tractor than I need, but you only live once.

I have the same affliction as you and want a similar sized tractor with front PTO and lift with CVT. The Deutz-Fahr 5 series TTV is the leading candidate. My current tractor is blue but I think I could live with this off color green.

The Deutz looks great but for me the nearest dealership is a no go for distance. I am spoiled as I have 4 blue dealerships within 100 miles of my location with the largest one only 15 miles down the road.
