Tractor
looking
I am looking at a new 1739E, Hydro with skid steer quick attach loader. I have never owned a tractor before. Need one to put in about 5 acres of food plots, brush hogging/mowing, and light loader work. Anybody have one? Any suggestions?
The closest dealer will be great to work with. Great people!

That size tractor will handle the chores you outlined just fine. I like the Massey's and it sounds like you are comfortable with the dealer. If shopping other brands is something you are not going to do, the Massey will serve you very well.

Good luck and you will enjoy having the tractor!

I have looked at the Kubota 3901 some but do not have a dealer close by. I am very budget minded but I want something of quality as well.

I've owned and/or have had experience with Kioti, LS (and by proxy, New Holland), Kubota, Massey. In my experience, the Massey is best quality. They are built in Japan by Iseki, and in my opinion, are right at the top of the heap ... And the heap includes alot of good machines.

There's good value in the LS and Kioti machines as well... And you may get "more for your money" with those brands. If you have them around, they are worth a look. In fact, all of the brands make mostly good machines, so they are all work looking at if they are represented in your area.

Good luck!

I just bought a 4x4 1739E hydro with skid steer loader, 72" rhino rotary cutter and a 66" rhino tiller. Can't wait to go get them and put them to use. This is my first tractor so I'm sure I will like it just fine. My deer and other critters will be thanking me soon.

Congrats! Welcome to the Massey crowd!

Make sure to post pics once you get her home.
