Does anyone know where I can locate a locking gas cap for a NH TN65?

No but if you find out I'd be interested too. I looked a while ago and did not find any. I looked into making one and at first glance can only think of 2 ways. One is to drill a small hole through the present cap at an angle and then through the tube it screws on to (no too go I realize). The other is to make some kind of contraption that clamsp over the plastic cap and secures it.
Please let me knowwhat you find.

Do you guys have a lot of problems with people robbing your fuel? So far I have not had any issues nor have I heard of anyone around here having any problems. Our bulk tanks are not locked either and there are a lot of unlocked bulk diesel tanks in this area.

I am not concerned about anybody robbing my fuel. I'm more concerned about vandals tossing a handfull of dirt into the tank as someone did to my excavator 2 years ago. I also lost the cap from the TN early in it's life when I thought I had put it opn tight.

That makes more sense. So far I am lucky as we do not have any problems like that around here.

I am told that the 85702172 locking fuel cap from the D series backhoes will fit on a TN Series.

The D series fuel cap might fit some TN's, but it won't fit them all. Early TN's and cabbed TN's have one size fill cap. Later non-cabbed TN's with the auxiliary tank behind the seat have another size filler.

I like the locking gas cap idea. Someone put a plastic bag into my tank. It took a while to figure out while it would only run for a few minutes with the plastic bag in there.
