hello looking to see if anyone has one? like the style of the forks rather than the long flat btm type, looks to be more
effective raking into the ground gathering roots and picking up anything in its way. clearing land and brush. also the cyclinders
are protected behind the back stop. not sure if top mounted cyclinders offer a mechincal advantage

I like Titan products, but I don't care for that large grapple . I have something similar with two grapple and feel that there is no way that a single grapple will be able to hold anywhere near as much material. If you just pick up one log or branch at a time, it will probably work. If you go for large brush piles, I think you will be disappointed.

We just bought a Titan tree puller and like their products, but for our use a double lid works better. We do mostly brush and small to medium logs, no rocks.

I've only been using grapples for a few months, so my opinion may not be worth much.

size is kinda misleading looking at a 60'' also the one big lid does not appear to close tight

looks like no one has one. still haven't decided, like the style as for a root rake for clearing new ground, would mainly use
for clearing and breaking up new ground for food plots

all the reading ive done still have the shorter fork length at the top of my list the only thing I see that would
possibly make the extreme grapple better is to have a double lid not really sure and not seeing many comets
of owners with this style of grapple. its not so much getting the maximum capacity to pick up but also the raking
abilty of this shorter style that to me looks better at the root racking than the longer tine style, but the extreme has a
fork style all its own which raises some concerns. seams any grapple has people happy, what is need is a good head to head comparison of the two styles, still being a Dutchman and sitten on the money but not going to pay $3000 for one eather
to many lower priced brands that will get the job done without paying the high dollar. I know these grapple threads are getting old but still do not have enough info to tip my decision eather way

Look up Island Tractor here on TBN. He seems to know more about grapple use than most others on Earth. I have an Igland brand log grapple, model GR-20, which weighs less than 400#s and is great at most things but is primarily a log/rock grapple, NOT really suited for brush/root raking. See my avatar for a pic of it holding a boulder of significant size. My own personal opinion is go with the smallest size you think will work; most who dislike their larger grapples wish they had chosen a smaller one for less weight, more maneuverability, etc. YMMV.:confused3:

I will look island tractor up, I have a 41hp LS and was looking at a 60'' grapple that is smaller than bucket size, I have looked at your igland grapple but I am looking for more of a rake also. don't need to be in competition with the biggest load but decently pick up brush and logs, in mich don't run into big rocks that often mostly 0-6 size range then could use more of a rock rake to pick up smaller rocks. but will a rock bucket style grapple be effective clearing brush?

the top one is the one I am looking at. looking at different sizes titan shows a crossbar on
the lower forks, not on the one you put up. I also think the longer lower forks would aid
in picking up more than the short style of the second one
