Got a vanity plate on your vehicle?

i have a Veteran plate on my PU, and Antique plates on my Model T and Model A.

In Illinois, it used to be free to have a plate as long as it had numbers and letters. I had restored a 70 Challenger and had the plats NEW 1970. I also had it on my 70 Road Runner but when I sold it I let the plates lapse. I know own a 2010 Challenger which Dodge did a pretty good job of trying to model it after the original cars, so I wish I had kept the NEW 1970 plates. I did save the last set I had and bolt them on sometimes when I go to a show. I just don't want to any extra cost for them, they are expensive enough as it is.

You got a site for the Maine registration? I was going to look into it for my travel trailer. Just got the renewal, $98 for 1/yr. seems kinda high for something I'll probably only be able to use a handful of times this year.

Up until 2 years ago I had BAD4X4 for my GMC dualy. Moved to TN and I didn't get any personalized plates..

Eat your hearts out guys, trailer plates for all trailers are $25.oo for the lifetime of the trailer and they are swapable to different trailers. Just register them on a different trailer.

In Tennessee there are no plates for trailers unless used commercially. I was happy to hear that since I have a big GN that sits most of the time.

I just ordered one for my GMC, I love to take pictures so my choice will read: "FSTOP 8"....if you have a vanity plate now, what does it read? And if you wanted to buy one...then what would it say? Michigan has an online site that lets you check to see if a particular plate is available...since my GMC is driven 99.5% of the mileage in 2-wheel drive, I checked on ordering this one...and the site says it was available: "TWOHIGH".....try not to laugh, but it was available !!!

Certainly it will be recognized by us photographers who know what a F-stop is but I'm not sure the new batch of "pros" who leave their digital cameras on A will get it.

NH had free vanities years ago so everyone had them including my wife and myself (yrbook) but since they starting charging like most states, 3/4 of us have dropped them.
