What would keep your Grapple out of the FIRE?

I'd agree. Never paid much attention to the EA Grapple. I'd certainly want something to keep brush from poking thru and getting in contact with my latch system and/or any of my hydraulics.

Now that i'm calm. I'll say thisss with ssslurrrring ssspeeeechh.

Mesh does have it's benefits by preventing sticks from poking through, but it can trap up some smaller dirt/debris that would otherwise filter through the open rails.

It is an option that Ted may consider.

from striking the operator too...

It should be standard on a grapple.

Earlier, I may have came across as a little bothered by some of the comments.
It was Ted's idea to create this thread, not mine. The replies were Ted's, not necessarily mine. He has way more knowledge of hydraulics than I do.
Monday morning would have been much calmer and pleasant without this thread, but it has been a good discussion that he does not regret bringing up.

Ted sincerely cares about our products and wants our customers to be totally confident and satisfied before and after the sale.

He has read all of the comments and still believes that what we use is the best for our grapples. A new video on this topic is uploading and will be here soon.

Is there a logical and specific reason you don't have your own signature and title here on TBN Travis?? Why would you want to post using someone else's name?? Not sure I get that. Yet another way you guys tend to come off a big arrogant. So we become a bit confused about who exactly we are talking to.

Lastly, if it was Ted's idea for the thread, why didn't he do it??

I have done the EA posting on TBN for a few years and have gotten in the habit of putting my name after each post for clarification.
Ted is good at a lot of things, but typing is not one of them.
I do often consult with Ted before posting and sometimes paraphrase the answer if I do not know the answer or if the question is directed specifically to Ted.

I think I/we have a pretty good relationship with the TBN community. Am I wrong? :confused3:

Your relationship with TBN is your business. Don't think anyone, especially me, is indicating otherwise. Just trying to clarify why you might sometimes get negative responses to what you perceive as a great post.
