7oz glasses!!! That's inhumane!!!

Yes it was. The serving areas were also separated between genders. They also closed down for the supper hour. Either so the Wives would go home and prepare supper or the men would return home for supper on pay days.

Interesting story Dan ...two observations come quick to my mind that either there were more than just one person shooting at some herded deer or they were dumped there (maybe after being poached) :scratchchin:

I don't think the deer were dumped but it is possible of course. The bodies were well off the road, way to far to carry by hand, and I did not see tire tracks. Most poachers, calling who ever did this a poacher is too kind, would not seem to be the type of person to shoot and then carry off the deer to dump them else where. No meat was taken from the deer. They were just killed.

Having multiple shooters is the only explanation that ever made any sense but then you have to have two or more really good shooters, and I suspect some luck, to get that many deer in one spot. I think the deer had to have been eating when shot. I just don't see how they could have been hit when moving...

Dan

How about in a lake in the forest---
Scuba diving with my son, he found a full bottle of beer that somebody had dropped overboard many years prior.
Being kept cool and away from the sunlight it was still good.

If that is allowed and not off topic...:laughing::laughing:

I was once canoeing down a spring fed river in FLA. The river used to be out in the middle of no where but not today. :(:(:( The water was crystal clear and COLD. Great to go to the spring on hot summers days of high humidity to jump in the water and cool off. You could not stay in the water too long because the water was too cold. Felt good to jump in to cool off, get out to warm up and then repeat.:laughing::laughing:

One day I was canoeing down the river that flowed from the spring and found a floating can of beer. Now it was Pabst Blue Ribbon, but for a young teenager, it counts as beer! :D:D:D Twas good too!:laughing::laughing: Cold as well because of the spring water.

Someone had dumped a canoe and lost the beer and other stuff.

Later,
Dan

OMG! I really didn't want to recall this, but some things just won't be denied. In the year of our Lord, 1967, we took a vacation to Freeport Texas and an excursion on a fishing boat. We stocked up on beer (Hamms) and boarded the boat, and proceeded 60 miles off shore to the snapper beds. Being land lubbers, my friend and I over indulged, combined with the rough sea, all we could eat was crackers for 3 days.
